The title of this picture is inspired by a Chinese philosopher from the Han period, who played an important role in the artist's theoretical work. In an attempt to theoretically grasp the way she worked, she came across philosophical Daoism. While she had always found only point-to-point correspondences with what constitutes her work - for example in the aesthetics of Baumgarten - Western faculties suddenly opened up here: that was true for classics such as Daodejing and Zhuangzi, between 500 and 300 BC Its interpretations by the philosophers Wang Bi and Guo Xiang from the 4th century AD as well as for the "The Philosophy of Painting" written by the Daoist monk and painter Shi T 'in the 17th century AD ao.
