The painting "Dream of Spring" or in the original title "Rêve de printemps" comes from the French painter William Adolphe Bouguereau. It was created in 1901 and shows a lady wrapped in white and dark blue robes. She sits barefoot and graceful on the edge of a masonry fountain surrounded by green nature. One of her legs is beaten over the other and she holds her right breast with her right hand. She leans her head slightly to the side and looks into the distance. Three female, naked angel children surround her. These float around her with their white wings and bent legs. Two of the angels wear golden, curly hair, the third angel is black-haired like the lady. One of the blond angels is about to put a wreath of pink and white flowers on her head. Her dark hair is stuck up and held by a hoop. The two angels to their right are heavenly. Flowers bloom at the feet of the lady, and an ivy rears up the wall of the fountain.
It is an oil painting on canvas, which can be assigned to the realism. The artist's perfected realistic painting technique and his preferred feminine representation of the female body with erotic charisma are reflected in the "Dream of Spring".
