Painting Frames "Clea" |
Gelbgrün mit Silberkante • Serie: Fancy 2 • Width: 26mm • Height: 20mm |
In yellow-green with a silver edge, the Clea decorative frame was designed by its makers, and it was also given a rather simple shape, so that Clea is ultimately seen as a jack of all trades under the frames. The Fancy 2 series, in which Clea is presented, is careful to create frames that offer particular flexibility. Clea is adaptable on the one hand as a home accessory, on the other hand as a popular frame for numerous different art styles and epochs. However, connoisseurs often pay attention to whether the frame and motif harmonize in color - either as a symbiosis in the same color tones or as the opposite pole in complementary colors. Complementary to Clea's yellow-green would be a red violet. Andy Warhol came out big with such strong colors. His cow from 1976, daisy from 1982 or a self-portrait from 1966 fit perfectly into the Clea frame. Those who prefer a harmonious color will get their money's worth with various Expressionists. While August Macke often discovers yellow-green in his landscapes, Franz Marc also has horses, cows or deer in the same color tone among his famous animal portraits. Women, on the other hand, are the main theme at Egon Schiele; here too, many of his works fit very well in terms of color in the Clea frame. |
