| The painting frame Jasmina from the Icon series exudes a touch of the Orient. The designers gave the real wooden bar with the dimensions 48x31mm a rather simple shape, but they couldn't help but incorporate a small firework of colors and design elements. As a straight level, the frame comes into the room with 31 mm at the outer edge, whereupon a narrow bar at a right angle forms the transition to the 48 mm wide front. This glows in strong, yellowish gold, which is repeated in another narrow bar, separated by a black groove. This powerful gold also received the inner end strip again. What happens between the gold bars is an enormous collection of ideas by the designers. As if they had taken oriental influences as a clue, they followed them and designed a unique central strip on Jasmina. The basis is a matt, strong black, which gives a harmonious picture with the groove above. Shiny, very fine ornaments were placed on the matt black. Tendrils, flowers, lines, all staged very delicately and surrounded by a lot of black empty space, form this oriental character. The decorative elements are embedded in very thin gold lines from above and below. The viewer can hardly say whether they belong to the ornaments or represent their own delimiting strips - the entire central strip cannot be surpassed in grace. |
