Painting Frames "Irma" |
French Ebony • Serie: Marais II • Width: 67mm • Height: 43mm |
In an image framed in French precious wood, every observer will look twice - because with the statelyness Irma is equipped with, the picture frame draws the attention to itself. An impressive 67 millimeters is the width of the frame, which in turn has a height of 43 millimeters. The longest exposed part of the frame is the top bar, which projects upwards like a slight wave. A narrow inguinal group follows it, before the middle section pushes into the foreground as a simple large area in order to also close at the lower end again with two narrow strips. The entire frame surface, which is covered with the black, French ebony clay, is accompanied by longitudinal grooves, which shows a strong wood grain with white cracks. Accentuators are in this frame, the joints between the bars - here a strong orange was chosen, which comes in the delicate stripes to light. In the overall picture they bring a certain glow in the otherwise rather dark frame Irma. |
